About the Department
The Department of Chemistry aims to provide comprehensive learning and quality education in cutting-edge areas of Chemistry. It motivates students toward research, emphasizing synthesis, characterization, applications, and instrumentation.
The department is a beneficiary of the DST-CURIE program and offers M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D. programs. Areas of specialization include Coordination Chemistry, X-ray Crystallography, Medicinal Chemistry, and Bioinorganic Chemistry.
