About the Department
The Department of Computer Science offers MCA, M.Sc Computer Science, Integrated M.Sc Computer Science (Data Science), B.Sc .Computer Science(Data Science), M.Phil and Ph.D. programmes. It provides theory-practice blended learning to meet industrial and academic needs.
Facilities include Smart Classrooms, Wi-Fi enabled labs, and dedicated AI research labs. Key focus areas are Biometrics, Digital Image Processing, Machine Learning, and Adaptive Systems. The AI Centre was established under DST funding to support women in AI innovation.
Beyond academics, the department trains students in soft skills, leadership, entrepreneurship, and public speaking, organizing seminars, workshops, and faculty development programmes regularly.
