About the Department
“The Department of Physics was started in the year 2002 offered M.Sc. Physics. M.Phil. Physics and Ph.D. Physics programme were introduced in the year 2005. The department focuses innovative teaching, inculcating moral values to the students.
The Department triggers the state of art research facilities to young minds with imparting insight in the emerging research fields of Physics.
The Department of Physics has been recognized as a beneficiary of the Fund for the Improvement of Science and Technology (FIST) sponsored by the of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi, since 2022, with the financial assistant of Rs.1.15 Cr and DST-CURIE (Consolidation of University Research for Innovation and Excellence) program, in the year 2010.”
